SAT tutoring where every hour goes to your own gaps
TestPrep SAT tutoring is live online, one to one, in 90-minute lessons. Every programme starts from a full-length diagnostic and its error analysis, and the lesson plan is rewritten after each subsequent full-length test. Math and Reading and Writing are taught by separate specialists rather than by one tutor covering both. Packages run to 1, 10, 20 or 50 lessons.

Around your timetable
Ninety minutes, three parts
- 1
Review the week's practice
Not marking it — the student has already done that. Working through the questions that were wrong and, more usefully, the ones that were right for the wrong reason.
- 2
Teach against the profile
The session's main work is whichever skill the current error analysis puts at the top. Method first, untimed, then the same skill under timing.
- 3
Set the next block
Filtered practice on the same skill, sized to the hours the student actually has that week, with a stated success criterion.

Tutoring or a group course?
| One to one | Group course | |
|---|---|---|
| Time spent on your specific gaps | All of it | Some of it |
| Cost per hour | Higher | Lower |
| Pace | Set by you | Set by the schedule |
| Best when the profile is | Uneven across sections or skills | Broadly even |
| Best when the runway is | Under three months | Three months or more |
| Schedule flexibility | High | Fixed weekly slots |
| External accountability | From the tutor | From the cohort and the schedule |
A third option is worth naming because it is often the best value: take the group course for structure and add a small number of one-to-one lessons aimed at the single domain the course cannot slow down for. See the group course.

Find out how many lessons you actually need
A diagnostic and an analysis session tell you the size of the gap and where it is. The package follows from that rather than the other way round.
