TestPrep SAT tutoring is live online, one to one, in 90-minute lessons. Every programme starts from a full-length diagnostic and its error analysis, and the lesson plan is rewritten after each subsequent full-length test. Math and Reading and Writing are taught by separate specialists rather than by one tutor covering both. Packages run to 1, 10, 20 or 50 lessons.

    Not marking it — the student has already done that. Working through the questions that were wrong and, more usefully, the ones that were right for the wrong reason.

    Teach against the profile

    The session's main work is whichever skill the current error analysis puts at the top. Method first, untimed, then the same skill under timing.

    Set the next block

    Filtered practice on the same skill, sized to the hours the student actually has that week, with a stated success criterion.

90 minutes. It is long enough to teach a method, work examples and set the follow-up practice in one session, and short enough that a student on top of a full school timetable can hold attention throughout.

All lessons are live online. That is what makes it possible to match a student to the right section specialist regardless of where either is, and to schedule around school timetables across time zones.

No. Math is taught by a mathematician and Reading and Writing by a language specialist. Students working on both sections have two tutors working from one shared plan, because a generalist across both is weaker at each.

That follows from the diagnostic, not from a package menu. As a rough guide, 10 lessons suits a narrow gap in one section, 20 is the common shape for a two-to-three month push across both, and 50 is for a rebuild from foundations. We would rather tell you 10 is enough than sell you 20.

Yes. Many students take one session to walk through a diagnostic and leave with a written plan, then decide whether to continue. The plan is yours either way.

On request, and with the student's knowledge. The review compares the current error profile against the previous one, so it says which specific gaps have closed rather than reporting an impression of effort.

With the Ultimate 50-lesson package, yes: it includes 20 full-length practice tests and the question bank. The single lesson and the 10 and 20-lesson packages do not include them, and you can add a practice test pack or a question bank plan separately.

If you are not satisfied after your first lesson, we refund your payment in full. You can cancel a lesson package at any time. Lessons already given are charged at the single-lesson price and the rest is refunded. The first-lesson guarantee applies on top.
