Keep the working beside the question
Use your voice to describe your reasoning, ask about a step or interrupt an explanation. Your browser asks for microphone permission; you can mute it and write on the board instead.
The shared board holds the tutor's working and your handwritten attempts. Put down the step that confused you so the discussion can continue from that point.
Choose between guided work and explanation
Select step-by-step work to attempt each part yourself, or the explanation mode to listen and stop at a step you need to discuss. Choose the voice and language at the same setup screen.
The opening-language menu has 20 choices. You can then speak in the language you want to use; the SAT question remains in English.
Check the expression in Desmos
SAT Math lessons include the practice simulator's Desmos calculator. The tutor can see your entered expressions, so your graph or calculation is available during the discussion.
Work with a hint, or request the solution
Guided mode asks you to attempt the question and offers progressively more help. You can request the full explanation at any point, or use the answer button. These are the stages of support in guided work; asking for the solution remains an option.

Keep the question review available for later
Closing an item creates a review note with its error classification, level of help, hint count and outcome. Compare that note with your own explanation of the mistake. Your panel groups reviewed questions by mistake type and shows the counts for each test. Follow a question back to its results when you want to revisit the original attempt.
Audio recordings are not stored. Your account retains the conversation transcript and question-review notes, including error classification and hint use. Deleting the account also deletes these records.

- A review is for understanding a question. It does not predict an official SAT score or offer a score-gain promise.

Before you start a review
- Can I start from the free SAT diagnostic?
- Yes. Finish the diagnostic on SAT1Prep, then enter through the AI Tutor card on its results. Wrong and unanswered items from completed SAT practice tests are eligible. Lessons cover Reading and Writing and Math.
- Can AI Tutor open a question-bank item?
- Yes, when you answered it wrong in a question bank you have access to. The bank's answer review shows an "Ask the AI Tutor" link beside the explanation, and the lesson runs as it does after a practice test. Blank items and free-sample questions do not open a lesson.
- Does it create my weekly study plan?
- The study-plan page is a guide to allocating your own practice time. Use your diagnostic results and error review to choose what goes into that schedule; the AI Tutor lesson does not automatically build the plan.
- What can I try before buying time?
- The account trial covers 2 mistakes and lasts at most 10 minutes. Sign in to use it; payment-card details are not required for the trial.
- How do paid minutes work on SAT1Prep?
- Time is sold here in 30-minute blocks, with a purchase limit of 8 blocks (4 hours). A balance you have not used remains available for another practice-test review.
- Can I ask for an answer instead of more hints?
- Yes. Request a full solution during the conversation or select the answer button. You can also choose explanation mode before the lesson; guided work is an option, not a requirement to earn access to the answer.
- What language and equipment can I use?
- Pick an opening language from the 20-language menu; the conversation can follow the language you speak. SAT prompts stay in English. Allow microphone access for voice, or mute and use the shared board. Headphones can help in a noisy room.
- What is recorded from a review?
