Who is responsible

What this website collects

Reading this site requires you to give us nothing: no account is needed for any guide, price or exam fact on it. An account is needed only to use the question bank and the practice-test simulator, and to complete a purchase. There are three places where you can choose to send us something: the review form, registration, and checkout.

Accounts. If you register we store your email address, the name you give, and a password we never see in plain text — authentication is handled by our identity provider, which stores a hash. While you use the question bank or a practice test we store your answers, scores and the error profile built from them, because that record is the product. You can ask us to delete an account and everything attached to it at any time, by writing to the address below.

Reviews. If you submit one we store the name you enter, your star rating and your text in TestPrep's shared reviews table, along with the time of submission. It is held as pending until a person approves it, and only the name, rating and text are ever shown. Please do not put contact details or another person's information in the text. To have a review removed, email us.

Two further things happen automatically:

• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider records standard server request data, including IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp. This is necessary to serve the site and to detect abuse.
• Aggregate analytics. We use privacy-preserving page analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. These measurements are aggregated and are not used to build a profile of an individual visitor. If and when a Google Analytics property is connected to this domain, this notice and the cookie notice will be updated before it is enabled, and consent will be requested where required.

What we collect when you contact us

If you write to us on WhatsApp or by email, we hold the content of that conversation, the contact details you used, and any information you choose to share — typically a target test date, a practice score and your availability. We use it to answer you and, if you become a student, to plan and deliver teaching. The legal basis is your request and, once teaching begins, performance of a contract.

What we collect if you become a student

Enrolment and payment happen on this site. When you buy a package we collect your name, email and phone number, and for a group course we pass them to TestPrep's shared enrolment service so you can be added to the class list and sent a confirmation. Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe, and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe and TestPrep's shared billing records hold the transaction so that receipts, invoices and instalments work.

During teaching we hold your diagnostic and practice-test results, your error analyses, lesson notes and scheduling information. This is what makes the method work — a study plan cannot be built without a record of what you got wrong.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We use service providers who process data on our instructions: our hosting provider, our analytics provider, the payment processor used at checkout, and the messaging and email services we reply to you on. Each is bound to process data only for the purpose we specify.

International transfers

We operate internationally and our controlling entity is registered in the United States, so personal data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place for such transfers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to teaching are kept for up to two years, so we can pick up a conversation if you come back. Student records are kept for the duration of teaching and for as long afterwards as tax and contractual record keeping requires. Hosting logs are kept for a short retention period set by our provider. Aggregate analytics are retained in aggregate form only.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these, email info@testprepeurope.com. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Many of our students are under 18. Where a student is a minor, we expect a parent or guardian to be involved in the enrolment conversation, and we will provide progress information to a parent on request and with the student's knowledge. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child other than in the context of arranging or delivering teaching that a parent or guardian has agreed to.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting how we use data already collected will be communicated directly to affected students.
