SAT1Prep is the Digital SAT resource of TestPrep Education
SAT1Prep is published by TestPrep Education, an online tutoring organisation established in 2008 that prepares students for standardised admissions tests. All teaching is delivered live online, to students in Europe, the UK, the United States and elsewhere. SAT1Prep covers the Digital SAT specifically: the exam itself, the preparation method, and the tutoring and course programmes that go with it.
The organisation has run standardised-test preparation for long enough to have taught the SAT in three different formats. The current Digital SAT is the third, and the transition to it in 2023 and 2024 is the reason this site exists in the form it does: a large proportion of SAT advice still in circulation describes an exam that no longer runs, and correcting that is most of the value an SAT resource can offer right now.
What we actually do
Diagnose before planning
No study plan is written before a full-length diagnostic has been taken and its errors classified by domain, skill and cause. The plan is a document the student receives, not an internal one.
Teach with section specialists
Math is taught by a mathematician; Reading and Writing by a language specialist. A student working on both sections has two tutors following one shared plan.
Classify errors, not just count them
A question lost to a missing method and one lost to the clock look identical on a score report and need opposite responses. Separating them is the core of the method.
Measure against the previous profile
Progress reviews compare this error profile to the last one. The question is always whether a specific gap has closed, not whether the total moved.
How this site handles facts
Exam structure comes from College Board. Question counts, timings, domain weightings, adaptivity and scoring are taken from College Board's published pages and its Assessment Framework for the Digital SAT Suite, and are held in a single file in this site's source rather than typed into individual pages. Every page that prints an exam fact links the source and shows when it was last reviewed. The current review date is 3 September 2026.
Test dates are not hard-coded past what is published. The calendar on this site carries only administrations College Board has actually announced, and every page showing dates links to College Board's own maintained page.
Claims we do not make. You will not find "the best", "the leading" or "number one" anywhere on this site, because none of them is verifiable. There is no guaranteed score improvement, because improvement depends on a student's starting point, hours and timeline. Score outcomes and reviews are published on the results page, with surnames reduced to an initial, and every one of them is an individual outcome rather than a typical or expected one.
