Official SAT scores of 1400+, read as measurements

Every row is a student who reached 1400 or more and shared an official College Board score report with us. A row can hold two measurements, a first official score where the student had one and a final one, with the Math and Reading and Writing split behind the final total. A sitting appears two weeks after its exam, when scores are released, never earlier.

This page lists students who scored 1400 or above; it is a selection, not every student we taught. Results are based on official SAT score reports shared by our students. Last names are shown by initial only for privacy. Students with no “First Score” field sat their first official SAT after our prep program; for those students we list the first official score instead of a score change. Individual results vary with starting level, study time, and program engagement.

How to read a row

What a results table can teach you if you study alone

A table of other people's scores is not a forecast of yours. Read it for how scores are built, then measure your own.

Look at the split, not only the total

The last column gives Math and Reading and Writing separately. Two students with the same total can have reached it from different sections, which is why a plan starts from your own split. The free diagnostic gives you yours, by domain and skill.

A first score is a starting point

Where a row shows a first score, it is the student's earlier official result; “first sitting” means there was none. If you have no official score yet, a full-length, timed practice test taken before you revise is the closest equivalent, and the practice tests let you measure again later on the same format.

Work on causes, not hours

What moves a score between two measurements is the work on what went wrong in the first one. Sorting each wrong answer by cause, a content gap, a method error, a misread question or running out of time, tells you what that work is. How to classify your errors.

In their words

In students' and parents' own words

1570

My goal was the top band. We focused the last weeks on the hardest M2 questions; 1570 on test day.

1400

1400 on my first attempt. Consistency was the real ingredient — at least 25 questions a day for the final three weeks.

1480

I sat my first official SAT straight after prep and scored 1480. My final practice test matched it, so the result wasn't a surprise.

1450 → 1520

1450 → 1520 wasn't a clean line. One practice test mid-cycle came back lower; instead of panicking, we revised the plan. The crisis-management piece was honestly the most useful part of prep.

Identifying the exact Math sub-skills I was weak on was half the battle. We did 50+ targeted problems with my tutor, the rest was on my own discipline. I went in confident and got 1580.

My child started at 1400, target was 1450+. The thing I valued most was the weekly reporting — we always knew where we stood. The whole family is happy with the outcome.

Getting comfortable with the Bluebook format was the single biggest unlock. Sharing the screen live with my tutor gave me real-exam reflexes weeks before test day. With Math + R&W-focused work I landed 1450.

Each score here belongs to one student and predicts nothing about yours. Your own numbers start with a diagnostic, and they move with an error analysis after every practice test: the only honest basis for a target.
