How quickly do you reply?

WhatsApp is usually answered the same working day. Email can take a little longer, particularly across time zones, so use WhatsApp if the question is time-sensitive.

What should I include in a first message?

Your target test date, whether you have taken a full-length test and what you scored, and roughly how many hours a week you have. Those three things are enough for us to say something useful rather than generic.

Do you charge for the first conversation?

No. The first conversation is about whether we are the right fit and what shape a plan would take. If a shorter or cheaper option suits you better, we will say so.

Can a parent get in touch instead of the student?

Yes, and it is common. We do ask to speak with the student before any plan is agreed, because a plan the student has not been part of writing tends not to get followed.

Three things that make the first reply useful

Your target test date
Or the fact that you have not chosen one yet, which is itself useful. The number of weeks available decides which plans are realistic.

Where you are now
A full-length practice test score, ideally with the section split. If you have not taken one, say so — that is usually the first thing to fix.

Hours per week
The hours you actually have alongside school and coursework, not the hours you would like to have. A plan built on the second one fails in fortnight two.
